The Independence Chamber of Commerce serves as the voice of the business community and provides a strong voice for business interests on city, county and state issues affecting you. You have a stake in this community that can best be safeguarded by working with others through the Chamber to protect and advance all businesses. By supporting the Chamber you will reap benefits from its planning and actions.
There are numerous benefits that await you and your business through the Chamber. There are opportunities for involvement and networking as much as your time will allow. However, if you do not have the time to be actively involved, knowing that the Chamber will be promoting and working for your business will give you a sense of assurance.
The Chamber of Commerce cannot carry out its broad program of work to protect and advance businesses without the personal service and financial support of its members. Organized businesses, functioning through the Chamber, help formulate and express sound opinions on important issues that affect the welfare of your community. Through the Chamber you can fulfill your commitment to your community.

Why Join?
There are plenty of reasons to join the Chamber
Join as a Chamber Member: you will receive the benefits presented to only Chamber members, including member-to-member discounts, networking opportunities, and member-only events. Plus, the Chamber promotes the community as a destination for visitors, corporate travelers and for families considering relocation. This is your chance to join the leading business association in our area.
Join as a Representative of a Chamber Member: being a representative of an existing chamber member means you are an additional contact of the business. Only the primary contact of the business can add and edit a directory listing on behalf of the business. As a representative, you can still engage in the online member benefits by registering for events, participating in committees and connecting with other members. Firms may have more than one representative active in the Chamber. Additional representatives are subject to an extra fee.
Join as an Individual Member: as an individual member you will sign up as an individual and not as a company. You will have a business directory listing which you can edit and engage in the online member benefits by registering for events, participating in committees and connecting with other members. This membership is ideal for retired individuals or those who would like to be friends of the chamber.
Join as a Community Member: you will be able to receive information on important community and Chamber events and activities. However, you will not be able to add a profile image, or a business directory listing and payment is not required.
