KAN-OKLA 100-Mile Highway Sale & Independence City-Wide Rummage Sales

Get ready to shop your way through miles of bargains during the 19th Annual KAN-OKLA 100-Mile Highway Sale, happening September 10-12, 2026! This popular multi-community event brings together rummage sales, garage sales, vendors and bargain hunters along a 100+ mile route through southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma. Independence will be part of the fun with citywide rummage sales, giving visitors plenty of opportunities to hunt for antiques, collectibles, household treasures and one-of-a-kind finds. Shoppers can use the official KAN-OKLA Highway Sale map to plan their route and make the most of three days of treasure hunting. Those hosting a sale in Independence can pick up a FREE rummage sale permit at the Independence Chamber of Commerce, 616 N. Penn Ave., August 17-28, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Whether you’re searching for a great deal or planning a sale of your own, mark your calendar for a weekend of miles of deals!
