Eagle Rock Shredders Jelly Jam

Break out the bikes, big hair and your best ’80s style for Jelly Jam 2026, coming to Riverside Park in Independence on Saturday, October 3! This action-packed, family-friendly celebration of BMX culture will feature a BMX drag race, Old School BMX Bike Show & Swap, Flatland Competition, bike games and challenges, a community Slow Roll ride, vendors, prizes, giveaways and more. The retro fun continues with a Jelly Jam Mullet Competition for kids, teens and adults, plus an evening performance by Villains Dance, an ultimate ’80s rock tribute band, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. at the historic Hille Band Shell. With activities for riders and spectators of all ages, Jelly Jam promises a full day of bikes, music, friendly competition and throwback fun in Independence. Admission is free, so grab the family, throw on some ’80s attire and get ready to jam!
